POSITION AVAILABLE: MARKETING COORDINATOR

Location: Mississauga

Education: College or University Education (or equivalent)

Reports to: Manager – Marketing Support

DESCRIPTION:

The Masco Canada marketing coordinator role provides support to the Marketing Support Manager. It fulfills the need of project managing and developing effective marketing materials for our brands and products. This role requires a strong understanding of our products, business and markets in which we sell.

Marketing Coordination:

  • Coordinate Price Books and Pricing Addendums
    • Coordinate the production of Masco Canada price books
    • Coordinate the production of Masco Canada price books
    • Work directly with designers on book production
    • Liaise throughout the production and distribution of price books
    • Coordination and distribution of price books and pricing addendums 
  • Project Manage Marketing Material Development
    • Development and updating of marketing collateral
    • Work with retail and trade channel marketing managers and product management to develop literature and/or other marketing materials for their markets
    • Work with inside and outside designers/agencies on literature.
  • Maintain the process for marketing dockets
    • Coordinate process needs for marketing docket administration
    • Update process as needed to include improvements and cross-functionality for the file via Smartsheet  
  • Maintain Marketing SKUs
    • Assign all marketing SKUs for support materials developed
    • Set up of new marketing SKUs into the distribution centre
  • Other Duties as Required

    • Build strong relationships with our Channel Marketing Teams and sister companies that will encourage feedback on materials and communication performance

Project Management:

  • Maintain personal workflow [and additional resources] while anticipating ongoing support needs within the organization
  • Setting and communicating clear objectives to management regarding: timelines, requirements and deliverables for ongoing projects
  • Making recommendations and managing urgent request projects while ensuring that client expectations are met and corporate guidelines are upheld

Product/Brand Knowledge:

  • Build a high level of product and brand knowledge on all product lines
  • Impart product knowledge and data on a regular basis to internal and external customers

I.T.:

  • Maintain and update a well-organized independent workstation and assist in maintaining Marketing Communications materials within the corporate network
  • Build on an already strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Build knowledge of design programs and Mac OS- Be familiar with all relevant Masco Canada software platforms as they relate to the role

Health & Safety

  • Maintain a safe workplace
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required on the shop floor
  • Comply with the company policies and OHSA (Occupational Health & Safety Act)
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or hazards as soon as possible to your supervisor

5S:

  • Ensure your work area is maintained at required daily 5S standards
  • Follow daily 5S standards as posted in your department
  • Correct any deviations from 5S standards immediately

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience within a team environment
  • Marketing experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of print production and substrates is an asset
  • Graphic design experience is a definite asset
  • Knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe CS is an asset
  • Bilingual is an asset
